As a group, after the user research we started to develop some user personas which we could take into out individual work to understand what users expectations were from this product. We started off on paper and then moved into developing these digitally with photos to build a visual identity for the user. This is a useful process to gain perspective from what the user will need and think of them as people rather than users - as often designers can fall into this trap and have their final outcome negatively impacted because they disconnected themselves from the end user and not keeping them and their needs in mind.
