In week 2 we looked at typography on a macro and micro level. Covering briefly how type exists to honour context and how we should always read text before deciding on the type. Sometimes we can get caught up in the assumption that type isn't important in web design or interaction design, but it is said that web design is 95% typography - as the ’Nielson Norman group’ say it is how users red on the web". All content in any format, physical or digital, requires type whether it be well done or not.
