In week 1 we were given a list of topics to work within a group to think of a product or service that would address a problem. My group consisted of myself, Chris Dale, Matthew McLaughlin and Jordan Cupples. We started off my mind mapping with a few of the topics that we found interesting such as energy crisis, surveillance capitalism, homelessness and artificial Intelligence.

Once we completed this process we had three main ideas

• app/service to show nearby amenities for homeless/refugees
• budgeting app for showing how much energy each device/appliance uses
• browser extension to highlight t&c risks

Problem statement

<aside> ⛔ Terms and conditions along with cookies are too long and difficult to understand. Constant changes to terms without the ability to agree, causes users to be opted in without fully understanding what the changes are.
