After looking at hey studios, I decided to sketch some illustrations that I might use and take inspiration from Hey. I have altered the shape in places but kept the basis of the people the same as it works well, these will be used along with the heroes and villains content. I went on to sketch a baker street, street sign and the front door of their house, to be used in the 221b Baker street section of this product. Finally, to go alongside the silver screen section I sketched a cinema scene - again keeping with the theme of simple shapes as with all other elements in this project. I developed these using line and when i was happy with them I added colour. These will be adapted as I move to develop them digitally.
Moving on from this, now I have an understanding of my illustrations, I will start to develop wireframes and typeset my content so I have an understanding of all the content and have a layout for it before adding the content.
